Haag-Streit BQ 900 LED Slit Lamp Table Model
Description
Thanks to its excellent optics, versatility, and ease of operation, the BQ 900 has become the standard for those requiring advanced slit lamp microscopy.
The BQ 900 is equipped by default with a Galilean Microscope providing a magnification range from 6.3 × up to 40 × selectable in 5 fixed steps. The high light transmission and the optical excellence ensure a superb clinical view. The large diameter of the exit pupils allows fatigue-free examination even on long working days.
Inclined eyepiece adaptor
With the inclined eyepiece adaptor, the view into the microscope is changed to a more ergonomic and fatigue-free working position.
Beam Splitter
The "key" to a wide range of accessories, the beam splitter diverts a portion of the light to secondary attachments such as the second observer tube, video, 35 mm or digital cameras. There are two ports which allow for simultaneous video / still photography or, alternatively, use of the second observer tube with either video or still cameras. The beam splitter may stay attached to the slit lamp as, by use of a simple lever, the full 100% light is sent back to the users eyepieces.
Second Observer Tube For teaching and assistants
Stereo Variator
Uniquely with the BQ 900 an optional stereo variator reduces the 13 degree angle to 4.5 degrees. Thus enlarged binocular field of view is possible even with myopia or through small pupils. This also aids the observation, without additional lenses, of the peripheral fundus and vitreous.
IM 900 - outstanding image quality
Equipped with an ultra-sensitive camera, the IM 900 produces images of exceptional quality even under difficult light conditions. Thanks to this sensitivity patient comfort is improved significantly as it is easily possible to record findings without excessively dazzling the patient. Like any professional camera, the IM 900 is equipped with depth of field control, which allows to adjust the camera ideally, regardless of the location of the pathology.
Instant fundus imaging on the slit lamp
This innovative accessory offers all users of current Haag-Streit slit lamps access to instant documentation of the retina. The impressive simplicity of the Fundus Module 300 allows integration of non-mydriatic retina imaging as part of the regular slit lamp examination. This can improve practice workflow and save both clinical and patient time.
The convergent stereo view offers a very large binocular field of view with high resolution and depth of focus. Eyepieces adjustable to all papillary distances allow for a fatigue free and relaxed examination, even during long examinations.
